I am Lucie Smrzova, a UX designer, originally from the Czech Republic but now living in Denmark, eager to further my career in the design space.
My journey began in 2018 when I became interested in coding. I was accepted into a two-week intensive computer science course by Stanford University. Since then, I have found enjoyment in coding, particularly in front-end. When it came time to choose a university, Seeking a blend of coding, design, and business, I pursued the multimedia design and communication AP program, during which I discovered a greater passion for design and its profound impact compared to coding. After finishing the AP program, I decided to delve deeper into UX design through a bachelor’s program in digital concept development, successfully graduating in January 2024.
I am passionate about studying the impact of design on people and improving lives through it. Creating experiences that are not only functional and beautiful but also impactful and memorable drives me. I thrive in collaborative environments where diverse perspectives unite to create innovative outcomes. I enjoy combining my creativity with analytical thinking to find the best solutions to problems, as well as to deepen my understanding of people and foster moments of empathy.
I am still learning, growing, and absorbing knowledge. Most importantly, I strive to make progress towards becoming a better UX designer every day.
